GPS Signal lost

Pierre Voland

A young man walks into winter, trying to fulfil his most hidden desires: a love encounter with another man, and an encounter with the absolute, and Christian spirituality. GPS Signal Lost tells about his inner journey featuring snowy landscapes of the Jura Mountains, a medieval courtly novel, and a gay dating app on a smartphone.

Shot on black and white Super 8 mm, the film takes us on a contemplative, ascetic quest, that intertwines the present time with a distant past.
