After having tried the adventure to Europe, a Cameroonian ex-footballer finds in traditional medicine and small jobs a way to preserve his freedom and to quench his thirst for discovery.

A painter friend goes to meet him for a filmed portrait. Through whatsapp exchanges between Brussels and Yaoundé and a dreamlike dive into nature, the film takes us on a journey, connecting painting and magic into the world of those who fight against the witchy influence among the Bassas of Cameroon.
